As an infrastructure lead for a career development program for the government:

·         Quickly achieved expertise in complex software packages and installed and configured software per project specifications

·         Researched complex system integration issues and provided recommendations to upper management for resolution, including pros and cons for each decision

 

As a collaboration system administrator for a large school district:

·         Implemented a web based solution to provide forums, social bookmarking, blogging for thousands of teachers in a large school district (Lotus Quickplace & Connections)

·         Supported extensive customizations of off the shelf software to meet client needs

·         Installed, documented and supported the development, integration, user acceptance and production environments for WebSphere Portal

 

As a technical manager for PC deployment for a large health care company:

·         Created and developed a standard deployment work flow and data model

·         Managed and maintained a link between customer’s legacy asset tracking system and deployment tracking system for quality assurance

·         Designed, programmed and put into production a web-based deployment tracking system for over 6000 PCs at hundreds of locations using PHP and MySQL

o       Implementation Support: Provided direct support to clinicians at their offices.

·         Compressed a project planned for one year into five months, with no change in scope

·         Recovered from severe delays in subcontractor work products and materials

·         Managed development of a customized digital asset management (DAM) system, storing and making video content available for all teachers in district on demand

·         Aligned technology with the school district’s mission of educating children

 

As project manager for application development/maintenance for a large chemical company:

·         Identified support and design considerations for approximately a hundred poorly documented web applications due to company organizational change

·         Directly responsible for extension of initial three-month contract to over a year’s length.
