Aveek and I went to Rome, Italy in October of 2008. This trip was originally planned for March of 2007 but because of a freak snow storm here in Pittsburgh, our flight to New York was cancelled and we couldn't get another flight to Rome for another 4 days. So, this was a make up trip.
We did a lot of walking on this trip. I have about 1000 pictures to share below. There are a LOT of sights to see in Rome and I really believe it's something that everyone should see in their lifetime. I'm not sure I would go back, though. It's a very small city with a lot of people and it's not very 'tourist' friendly. They have tried to keep everything as is, which is nice, but can make for some uncomfortableness.
